User guides and important notices for the Fjord Apartment
Jacuzzi
Key notices before using the Jacuzzi:
- —All use of the Jacuzzi is at own risk and responsibility. Always be minimum two people while using the jacuzzi. No child can use the Jacuzzi unattended by adults.
- —Always make sure the FOUR connection points of the lid is opened and clicked out of the locks, before taking the lid off the Jacuzzi.
- —All guests using the jacuzzi must shower before entering the pool.
- —No use of cups made of glass in the Jacuzzi. There are plastic cups and wineglasses for this purpose, available in the shelves of the kitchen in the washroom.
- —Remember to hydrate and drink loads of water!! There is an antiskid carpet in the hallway to the bathroom — for a reason 😃
- —After use — close the lid, and fasten all four locks on the lid to the Jacuzzi.

Boat
Video guide
Starting the boat
- Turn on power.
- Open the air-intake screw on top of the fuel cap.
- Lower the engine all the way down — so it is fully submerged in the water — by using the button placed on the side of the gear lever.
- Ensure the gear lever is set at "Neutral" — place the key in the ignition and start the boat.
Stopping the boat
- Stop the engine.
- Raise the engine fully out of the water.
- Turn the power switch to the "OFF" position.
- Close the air-intake screw on top of the fuel cap.
Fuelling the boat
The fuel tank is placed below the seat at the back of the boat. For re-fuelling there is a smaller movable Fuel-Can which is also placed in the same compartment of the boat. This can be used to refill the tank from the pump, next to the harbour. The fuel to be used is Unleaded 98 Petrol or Unleaded 95 Petrol.
Please note: Users of the boat are expected to leave the boat with a full tank of fuel.
Important notices
- —All use of the boat is at the guest's own risk and responsibility. A statement of liability must be signed before guests can take the boat into use.
- —Use is limited to the Haugsbygdafjord — the waters outside the fjord have visible reefs and some just below the surface. Weather can change quickly.
- —Fuel for the boat is provided by the guests, from the gasoline pump at the marina where the boat is located.
- —The boat has a new engine. Should any problems arise, we will do what we can to fix it or provide an alternative — if not possible, we can refund 200 NOK per night.
- —In Norway, persons born in or after 1980 need a boating licence to operate a recreational craft with an engine greater than 25 HP. A licence issued in another EEA state is valid if it meets Norwegian requirements. Contact the Norwegian Maritime Authority: [email protected]

How to connect
- 1Connect your iPhone or Android phone to the apartment Wi-Fi network.
- 2Then access the speakers using one of these two methods:
iPhone — Control Centre
Swipe down from the top-right corner of the screen to open Control Centre. The available SONOS speakers will appear in the audio output panel.
iPhone or Android — Bluetooth settings
Go to Settings → Bluetooth and select the speaker for your room from the list of available devices.
