Polarbear
Polarbjørn is an exhilarating à la carte restaurant located on the hotel’s 9th floor, with fantastic views of Ålesund city centre, the sea and surrounding islands. The menu offers a varied selection of exquisite dishes from the sea and land.
XL Diner
The restaurant opened in 1999 and has since worked to promote the excellent raw material of clipfish. This has led to XL Diner becoming one of the most famous bacalao restaurants in the world.

Spanish and Sunnmørsk temprament - a perfect match
In the spring, during Spansketida in Ålesund, the town was flooded with Spanish sailors on shore leave. Dancing in the streets, wine and guitar playing was a common sight. The coastal people and the sailors met over good food, wine, song and dance. Now we will gather in the same way. Low shoulders and hungry bellies. Maybe it will be a quick glass of wine and a good chat or maybe it will be an evening for the history books
